Cisco Catalyst 3750-X end of life: key dates

By Nico De Muynck · Updated July 25, 2026

This switch is past its Last Date of Support.

The Cisco Catalyst 3750-X reached, or reaches, its Last Date of Support (LDoS) on October 31, 2021. That is the hard stop: no TAC, no RMA, no software fixes after it.

Cisco Catalyst 3750-X lifecycle milestones

These dates are from Cisco's official end-of-sale and end-of-life bulletin (EOL10623). They apply to the WS-C3750X part numbers.

What these dates mean

End of Sale is the last day the Catalyst 3750-X could be ordered from Cisco. End of Software Maintenance is the last day it received bug-fix releases. Last Date of Support (LDoS) is the one that matters most: after it, there is no TAC support, no RMA replacement and no security fixes, so an unpatched switch on your network becomes a standing security and compliance risk. For the full milestone chain, see what Cisco LDoS means.

What replaces the Catalyst 3750-X?

Cisco positions the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series as the successor. If you are still running Catalyst 3750-X switches in production, budget the refresh now rather than discovering the gap during an audit or a failed RMA. New to the terminology? See EOL vs EOS vs EOSL.
