RUCKUS R710 end of life: end of support date
By Nico De Muynck · Updated July 25, 2026
Supported until December 31, 2027.
The RUCKUS R710 reaches its End of Support on December 31, 2027. That is the hard stop: after it there is no support or hardware replacement.
R710 lifecycle milestones
This date comes from the official RUCKUS (CommScope) End of Sale / End of Life Product Datelines. RUCKUS gives hardware support for five years after End of Sale.
| Milestone | Date |

| End of Support | 2027-12-31 |
What these dates mean
End of Sale is the last day the R710 could be ordered. End of Software Maintenance is the last day it received software updates and bug fixes. End of Support is the RUCKUS Last Date of Support, five years after End of Sale: after it there is no technical support and no advanced hardware replacement, so the device becomes a standing security risk. For the full RUCKUS lifecycle, see the RUCKUS EOL guide.
What replaces the R710?
RUCKUS positions the R750 (Wi-Fi 6) or R760 (Wi-Fi 6E) access points as successors to the R710. If you are still running R710 hardware in production, budget the refresh before an audit or a failed replacement forces the issue. New to the terminology? See EOL vs EOS vs EOSL.
